Phase II Macro Project
The Anglican Martyrs’ Site Namugongo has grown to be one of the most prominent faith based, Pilgrimage and Cultural tourism site in the region attracting millions of Christians annually especially on 3rd June from Uganda and other parts of the world to commemorate the lives and religious beliefs of the Uganda Martyrs.
The Phase II project seeks to put in place the required infrastructure so that Uganda Martyrs’ Namugongo Anglican’ Site meets the current and future demand given its significance in the region and its growth potential and further transform the site into a one stop self-sustaining faith-based tourist site.
This will be attained by leveraging the Site’s rich cultural history and its great significance to the Christian faith both country and worldwide and turn it into a world class religious and cultural historical Centre in Uganda.
